Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute individualized therapy plans in coordination with veterinarians.
  • Perform various treatment modalities, including underwater treadmill, laser therapy, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercises.
  • Provide client education on home exercise programs and assistive devices.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and track progress throughout treatment.
  • Ensure a safe environment by following proper procedures and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to practice meetings and assist with training of other team members.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Required Skills:
    • Minimum of two years of veterinary experience, including patient care and client communication.
    • Certification in veterinary rehabilitation (CCRP, CCRA, CCRVN, or related) preferred, or an interest in pursuing certification.
    • Strong computer skills and experience with practice management software.
    • Ability to assess patient behavior and recognize signs of illness or stress.
    • Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Team-oriented, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
    • Adaptability to evolving client and patient needs.
